Note the segment where the narrator talks about engineers showing up to an event to learn about cars and racing. Wow, I wonder if GM shows up anywhere these days? No joke, the Big Three, back in the day, used to garner quite a bit of engineering ideas by participating in racing and motor sports. They also connected with the buying public that way. The last several decades GM has been building cars by committee and bean counter hacks. Oh, they just flushed about $15 BILLION last month in sales...anybody at GM listening?
