Ford has rarely advertised their vehicles as "reliable" compared to Toyota. Also, if you don't know, Toyota is owned by Japan. They just farm labor out here to save money and increase profit margins. You must be under the impression that anything made in America (by a foreign company) is a good thing because somehow it's suddenly American. Not true. Japan has strict import regulations and restrictions on our cars, but they don't have a problem here. So what that there are jobs because of the Tundra. Not that long ago, those American workers HAD jobs building cars too...but the failed management and weak policies AND the UAW problems contributed to cutbacks and plant closings.

Another Anonymous said ...Careful about calling th...

Another Anonymous said ...
Careful about calling the kettle black. I do love motorcycles...but I've never owned one. If I did get one, it would be a Ducati. I really love their V-twin sound and racing history. I currently drive a 1991 Miata (no one in America makes a car like that unfortunately) As far as hybrids go, for sure! I hope we keep developing this technology. I'm working on an article to talk about this in the future. I think they are the best solution for the short term and an ongoing viable option while we develop other technologies.

Thanks again!

Rich

Yeah I could go for that, some new stuff, not anym...

Yeah I could go for that, some new stuff, not anymore rehash and redos. Seriously.

I remember as a kid checking our the futuristic cars in magazines like motor trend. I even saw some at a show couple times. Then I learned that protoypes never come out, only parts of them do. I was disappointed.

Well I've owned a Ford F250 and a Ford F150...both old and used, and both straight 6's!!

But now I'm a motorcycle man. I love my 2-wheels getting 70mpg and I aint going back even if we get back to $2 gas!

Although, I do really like the Honda FIT and their new Civic. I'm a Honda man I guess (own a Honda Passport and Honda Rebel) Think I'll trade in my Craftsman mower for a Honda next time too.

Basically, I now prefer foreign cars to US stuff.

AND, I WANT TO PUSH FOR "GO SMALL AMERICA" Give up on the big ol tank cars suckin gas and taking up too much space. GO small! Be practical! Unless you're hauling a work load everyday for the jobsite, forget big ol trucks and SUV's (the Passport's midsize and just right I think)

So are you into Motorcycles?
